This Sabbath, I will go to church, then out to eat at Chili's (I recently tried their Quesadilla Explosion Salad, and I can't stop thinking about it), then drop by a housewarming party in the evening. I'm hoping for a nap in there sometime too. Wooooo!
Ten years ago today, I was woken up by my dorm phone ringing early in the morning. It was my roommate's boyfriend from the East Coast calling to tell us that the World Trade Center had been hit. Westmont spent the rest of the day watching the horrifying news and praying.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who lost loved ones ten years ago.
