1. Waiting for Guffman. I love: the intensity brought to every aspect of the delightfully terrible production of "Red, White, and Blaine," Parker Posey at the DQ, Corky St. Clair's haircut and backwards jeans and his dancing and "I'm just going to bite my pillow, is what I'm going to do," Parker Posey saying "whoaaa" as she tips over while doing the splits, the "Midnight at the Oasis" audition, the crazy dude with the alien conspiracy theory, Bonnie's wonderful pantsuit, and "This Bulging River," which, inexplicably, ended up on the deleted scenes.
2. A Mighty Wind. I love: that there are about ten people singing "A Mighty Wind" and no one attempts harmony, the sweet relationship between Mitch and Mickey, Fred Willard's catch phrase "Wha' Happened," the guy who passionately sings "Ave Maria" in the concert hall, the ridiculous cult that Jane Lynch's character leads (WINC), and "Thank God for the model trains. If they didn't have the model trains they wouldn't have gotten the idea for the big trains."3. Best in Show. I love: Parker Posey in braces, Fred Willard's obnoxious dog show commentary, Parker Posey intensely trying to find a bumble bee dog toy, Eugene Levy's two left feet, Parker Posey freaking out because she thinks her dog is freaking out (it's not), Jane Lynch super smugly telling Eugene Levy that she shows a dog named Rhapsody in White, Parker Posey, and Jennifer Coolidge explaining that she has so much in common with her thousand year-old husband.
